Where is there an executive golf course or driving range close to Coronado Island?

I’m going to be staying there for the weekend, and I’d like to hit some balls. Nothing fancy, just somewhere to hit balls…

Well in Coronado, you got the Coronado Golf Course which is probaly the cheapest 18 hole regulation course in all of San Diego which is $30 on the weekdays, and $35 on the weekends if you want to walk. It used to be only $28 everyday, but now it’s raised up. It’s a good price for golf in an 18 hole regulation course in San Diego since the most of the other courses are more than $50. There is a couple that is like $40, but the rest are at least $70 to play in. It’s a Par 72 course by the bay, and for only $30-$35 it’s like the best deal, and they also have a driving range. It’s the only place in San Diego if you want to play cheap golf. Well if you just want to play an executive course, San Diego has alot of them also, and it’s the other way of playing cheap golf. Although there are none in Coronado, you can always cross the bridge to San Diego. There is the Balboa Park 9 hole which is a 9 hole Par 32 executive course in Balboa Park by the San Diego Zoo, just east of Downtown San Diego. The green fees there run for $16 on the weekdays, and $20 on the weekends for 9. They also have an 18 hole regulation course which is a bit more than Coronado which is $38 on the weekends, and $48 on the weekends. Both courses are operated by the City of San Diego. There is also the Mission Bay Golf Course and Practice Center in Mission Bay by Sea World which is also operated by the City of San Diego, and it’s a Par 58 executive course with also a driving range and practice facilites. The green fees are $26 on the weekdays, and $33 on the weekends. Another executive course is the Tecolote Canyon Golf Course in the Clairemont Mesa area east of Mission Bay. It’s a Par 58 executive course featuring elevation changes, challanging tee shots, and undulating greens. The green fees are $19 on the weekdays, and $26 on the weekends. One more course is the Sail Ho Golf Club by the San Diego International Airport, and the San Diego Sports Arena, and it’s a 9 Hole Par 3 Course, and the green fees are $13 on Monday-Thursday, and $15 on Friday-Sunday. All golf courses mentioned above has a driving range except for Sail Ho Golf Club. For more information about all the golf courses mentioned above, the websites are below in the sources.

Ahh man there is nothing right in Coronado besides the golf course there and it is not an executive course. But as soon as you leave the Island (actually a peninsula) there are tons of course in town to go to. A nice 9 hole executive course is Sailho course which is not that far from there http://www.sailhogolf.com/golf/proto/sailhogolf/. But they have no driving range. If you have the time may I suggest Riverwallk golf course in Mission Valley, that is one of the best course out here.
