What type of palm trees are growing in San Diego and Coronado?

I was just in San Diego and was curious what type of palm tree is along Harbor Blvd. and near the convention center? They looked similiar to the trees in Coronado. I tried to do a search but came up with date palm. The date palm did not look like the trees I saw.
