1. Del does dinner (again): Some of you may have been lucky enough to dine at the Del last night for a Victorian buffet. Today the Del offers another buffet dinner with all the trimmings in the Oceanfront Ballroom as well as the Crown Room. The cost is $87 for adults, $37.50 for children ages 6-10, and free for kids 5 and under. Enjoy a holiday meal without all the stress. Happy Holidays!
2. Reserve a spot: We know Christmas is hardly over, but it’s never too early to start thinking about New Year’s Eve. Ring in the New Year with class and champagne at the Del’s “Champagne by the Sea” event, Friday, Dec. 31. Make your reservations for this night of food, dancing and bubbly as soon as possible and enjoy a memorable night of saying goodbye to 2010.
3. Start a tradition: Assuming you haven’t done this already, why not start a new Christmas Day tradition and go ice skating? After the gifts have been unwrapped and new toys have been broken into, head over to the Del for some fun on ice. Enjoy the ocean view as you skate around to Christmas music. Times are 11 a.m.–1 p.m. (matinee), 2–5 p.m. and 6–9 p.m. Matinee times are $5 off normal ticket prices and skate rentals are $5.
5. Merry Christmas: Patch wishes everyone good tidings and good health this Christmas morning. We hope Santa brought you what you wanted most and that the rest of your holiday is stress-free and fun. To all our Coronado Patch readers and beyond: Merry Christmas!
