Gas Prices Stabilize After Two-Week Rise

Gas prices remain steady after two weeks of increases.

The average local price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline decreased one-tenth of a cent today to $3.81, one day after rising one-tenth of a cent.

The average price is 2.8 cents more than one week ago and 5.1 cents greater than one month ago, but 1 cent less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
